These tufted scallop shells are named after the Botticelli painting 'The Birth of Venus' which depicts Venus standing upon a large scallop shell.
Each shell is made from second hand and repurposed acrylic yarn (unravelled from knitted clothing). Each piece is finished with felt on the back and a thread loop for hanging (or they could be laid flat). Each piece is vegan friendly.
Each shell measures approximately 16cm wide and 14cm high.

Please note that tufted items are not machine washable. Please only spot clean if necessary. A once over with a lint roller will help to remove dust.
